Privacy

(re)think.ai is run by Kiyan Sheikh. This page explains what information I collect, why I collect it, who else handles it and what you can ask me to do with it.

Cookies

This website doesn’t set cookies and doesn’t use analytics or advertising trackers. To play the opening animation only once per visit, your browser keeps one small note for that tab. It holds no personal information and disappears when you close the tab.

When you open the booking window, it loads from Calendly, which sets its own cookies. Calendly’s privacy notice, opens in a new tab explains them.

What I collect and why

  • Booking a call. Calendly collects your name, email address and anything you choose to tell me, so I can arrange and prepare for the call.
  • Emailing me. I receive your email address and message, and use them to reply.
  • Working together. I keep notes and the work we do in sessions. Before we test anything, we agree what information can go into AI tools and what stays out.
  • Paying. I keep the details needed for invoices and receipts.
  • Visiting the site. My website host, Netlify, records technical details such as your IP address, browser and the pages you visit, to run and protect the site.

I don’t sell or rent your information, and I don’t use it for advertising.

Who else handles it

I use a few service providers: Calendly for booking, Netlify for hosting, and my email and invoicing providers. They handle your information only to provide their service to me. Some of them store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws. See Netlify’s privacy policy, opens in a new tab.

How long I keep it

I keep booking details and emails for up to two years after we were last in touch, unless we’re working together. I keep invoices and payment records for as long as Canadian tax rules require, generally six years. After that, I delete them.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it, or ask me to delete it, unless I have to keep it by law. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Email kiyan.sheikh@rethink-ai.ca and I’ll respond within 30 days.

If you’re not satisfied with my answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, opens in a new tab or, in British Columbia, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner, opens in a new tab.

Changes

If I change how I handle information, I’ll update this page and the date at the top.
